Family Funathalon Hosted by the Monmouth County Park System

The Monmouth County Park System’s Family Funtathlon will be held on on Saturday, May 7.

This exciting event offers teams comprised of two to six family members the opportunity to compete in a variety of outdoor adventure challenges such as canoeing, archery and other athletics while problem solving and racing against the clock and each other.

Each challenge requires one adult and one child (between the ages 6-14). Teams are allowed to switch members for different challenges. Bicycles are allowed and encouraged. Helmets must be
worn. All racers will get an award medal. Trophies will be given to the top three teams. Teams are encouraged to dress in costumes, uniforms or carry signs displaying their family spirit. A Family Spirit trophy will be awarded.
