Grab your fishing pole and prepare to wrangle an impressive fish at Cliffwood Beach Park. In addition to trophies awarded to first, second, and third place finishers in all three groups, the first place winners in each category will receive a Rod & Reel Combo provided by Crabby's Bait & Tackle. - 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Matawan Regional High School will play host to several longtime favorites, including a classic car show, displays of emergency services vehicles and equipment, entertainment, children's rides, vendor booths, informational displays by local non-profit organizations, food concessions, and a crafts fair.
DeMarco's and Hand and Stone will have tents in the Bed, Bath, & Beyond shopping center on Route 34. Stop by for free food, raffles or a mini massage. - 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Talented performers from Aberdeen and the surrounding communities will flaunt their skills as singers, dancers, comedians, magicians and impersonaters. Come see who's got talent at Aberdeen's Got Talent at Strathmore Shopping Center. - 7:30 p.m.
Batters up! The first pitch of the Mayor's Trophy softball game between the police and fire department will be thrown at 7:30 p.m. at the Fireman's Field. - Sundown
After the softball game ends and the sun sets, it's time for fireworks! Spread out a blanket on Fireman's Field and enjoy the show with your family.
