Clint Eastwood's 'Jersey Boys' Will Feature Holmdel Native

Johnny Cannizzaro, a 2001 Holmdel High School graduate, will play a supporting role in the film adaptation of "Jersey Boys."

A Holmdel native is about to have his dreams come true, he'll be directed by Clint Eastwood.

Johnny Cannizzaro, a 2001 Holmdel High School graduate, will act next to the likes of Vincent Piazza of Boardwalk Empire and Christopher Walken in the film adaptation of "Jersey Boys," according to IMDB.com.

Cannizzaro will play Nick DeVito, the twin brother of Tommy DeVito, one of the founding members of The Four Seasons with Franki Valli. This should be easy for Cannizzaro  he's a twin himself.

Since leaving the stage at Holmdel High School, Cannizzaro has had small roles in big titles like "The Muppets" and "General Hospital." More recently, the Holmdel native finished filming in a supporting role for a new TNT series "Lost Angels," real life stories of cops and gangsters in the 1940's.
