Deer Breaks Into Holmdel Frozen Yogurt Shop

The store is located at busy Kohl's Plaza on Route 35, next to Hazlet's wooded Veterans Park.

The owners of the one-year old Peachwave Frozen Yogurt Shop in Holmdel had just closed up shop when a deer broke through the front plate glass window.

As Al Prachar of Aberdeen and his daughter Jennifer watched in astonishment, the deer frantically ran through the yogurt store's rear and front dining area, slipping and scampering on the smooth floors until finding an escape route through the back door.

The family recounted the caper to a reporter in this video on News 12. Video of the young deer has also aired on CBS New York and WABC-TV New York and other stations.

Their son also had some fun setting the surveillance footage to some music in this YouTube video.
