UPDATE: Massive Brush Fire Rages In Berkeley,…

You Still Have Time to "Crack the Code!"

Saturday's second annual 5K race and run/walk in Holmdel will benefit breast cancer research and HCUCC.

Help find the cause and ease the cure! You still have time to register for the Crack the Code 5K race benefiting cancer research and the Holmdel Community United Church of Christ.

The race is taking place on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Vonage Headquarters, 23 Main Street (also known as Rt. 520) in Holmdel.

This should be a really fun event. The Breeze 107.1 FM will be broadcasting live music to fire up the runners and crowed before the race. Runners start near the front entrance at 10:00 a.m. Walkers begin at 10:10 a.m. and the children's races will take place at 10:30 a.m.

The course is relatively flat and fast winding through residential areas as well as the "donut" drive surrounding Vonage.

Thursday, March 17 is the deadline to register online at crackthecode5K.com. Runners may also register in person on Friday, March 18, between 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Holmdel Community Church (HCUCC)  at 40 Main Street, Holmdel.  Packet pick up will also be available for pre-registered runners.  The church is located across from the Holmdel Firehouse on Rt. 520.  Registration is inside Fellowship Hall. The fee is $30 online through Thursday. See information about registration here

If you like to wait until the last minute, registration is also available on race day, Saturday, March 19 on the Vonage property under the tents. Enjoy lots of free parking.  Fees for the race are $35 per person.

Participants will enjoy a well organized race, gorgeous technical t-shirts, and super raffle prizes.  Don't miss the post-race party at the Holmdel Firehouse.  Post race party features  live music by EleFUNK along with free food, beer, and other drinks for race day participants.
