Yorkie Looking for Love Despite Old Age

Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue (CODAR) is an Aberdeen-based, non-profit canine rescue group that takes in dogs from high-kill shelters and puppy mills along the east coast and works to find them any necessary medical attention, foster care and a forever home.

Angelina

Angelina is a senior Yorkie at the age of 9, but that doesn't stop her from loving you with all her heart! Petite and sweet she weighs in at about five pounds. She just loves to be by your side. Sadly, Angelina had been with her owner for 9 years until about two weeks ago when a family change caused her to be surrendered to rescue. She is now in foster care and coming out of her shell in her new surroundings. She is dog friendly, cat friendly and child friendly but due to her age would do best in a home where she can have a little peace and quiet.

Mookie

Mookie is a well behaved purebred Shiba with all the characteristics of the breed. He is not aggressive, but is extremely afraid of young children and loud surroundings. We rescued Mookie from an abusive home five years ago and he has come a long way to correct his bad behaviors prior to us getting him. He needs a calm home without kids. 

Ike

Ike is a male purebred Cocker Spaniel. He was very afraid in the shelter, but is doing great in his foster home. He does great with dogs his own size but is cautious of bigger dogs. He is being treated for Heartworm. Ike is in New Jersey and just waiting to find his forever home. 

Corona

Corona is an eight year old Chihuahua who was kept prisoner by a hoarder. Freed by Castle of Dreams, she’s now living and loving in a foster home while she waits for the family that will love her forever. She’ll need a quiet home without kids. Someone who knows the breed would be great! She ignores the cat and gets along fine with the family Shih Tzu.  

Daisy

Daisy is a one year old Cocker Spaniel/Sharpei mix. A very loving puppy with lots of energy, Daisy is house broken and crate trained. She is looking for a loving home with lots of space to play. She’s good with people and children, but has not had much exposure to other animals. 

Charlie

Charlie is one of the Shih Tzus rescued from a puppy mill by Castle of Dreams. He's a little shy but so sweet and ready to discover the love he missed out on as a puppy. All groomed and ready to find his forever family, Charlie deserves to experience the good life!
