"We are still getting donations this week," said Dinner Dance Chairperson Chris Hazel. "We'll be getting donations until the last day. "

The live auction will feature the popular "Principal for a Day" where a student gets to be the commander in chief at his school. Other live auction items are dinner prepared with Chef John Harkness, Priceless Dining Treasures valued at over $2000, a one-week Vacation at Masthope, and VIP Seating at a New Jersey Devils Game complete with dinner and parking.

"Our crown jewel Live Auction prize is an original oil on canvas landscape of 'Winter in Holmdel Park' by Holmdel's own portrait and landscape artist, Desiree Zaslow," said Hazel.

The winner of the Mystery Jewelry Key Contest will take home a stunning pair of Inside-Out Diamond and Gold Hoop earrings. The winner of the Pyramid Box Raffle will be the owner of a Louis Vuitton Tote Bag.

Tickets are $150 per person and include an evening of hors d’oeuvres, dinner, open bar, coffee, dessert and dancing. There will be a silent and live auction, as well as a 50-50 and a luxury gift basket raffle.

Organizers welcome everyone to attend. To buy a ticket, email contact@hfee.org or call 732-740-1988. Payment is available by credit card or check.

"We have our annual giving campaign in the fall, but we feel this brings the community together," said Hazel. "It spreads the word about our organization. We enjoy putting together the fundraiser, and it's a very nice social opportunity. You get to know the people in your town, administrators, educators and the members of the Board of Education."
