Holmdel Girl Sings "I Want Peace"
Doe-eyed Kara Robertelli, 7, of Holmdel sings an inspirational holiday song, viewed more than 2400 times on YouTube.
Kara Robertelli of Holmdel is the star vocalist of a stirring holiday song that tells the story of how a little girl realizes she has everything she needs, and wants to save her Santa wish for "peace, love and harmony" in the world.
In an interview published in the December issue of Community Magazine (Colts Neck/Holmdel/Lincroft), writer Susan Murphy visits the Robertelli household and talks to Kara about how she was selected to sing the song, written by Jeff Saxon of the Music & Art Academy in Matawan. The song includes a guest appearance by the International Peace Choir.
Kara is a second grader at Village School.
