The Hazlet Day Festival is coming! Gather your family and friends on Oct. 5 and head to Veterans Memorial Park.

There will be rides, food and entertainment along with local vendors and free health screenings. Tackle the rock climbing wall or be your wild self on the bungee trampoline.

Township Committeewoman Barbara Ronchetti said that there will be a special dedication to the longtime volunteer organizer of the festival, Hazlet Recreation Commissioner Joanne L. Stern-Jefferson, who died on August 22.
