Grammy Nominated Singer Performs During Sept. 11 Assembly at Satz

An assembly at the school marked the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The auditorium quickly filled with W.R. Satz students in Holmdel, many of whom were not even born on Sept. 11, 2001.

An assembly at the school marked the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and was full of meaningful music from Grammy nominated performer Linda Chorney.

Chorney, a Boston native who has lived in New Jersey for 13 years, sang songs she had written as a result of Sept. 11, and a song dedicated to an 8-year-old boy who died at the Boston Marathon bombing.

The assembly was made possible by the Holmdel Township Education Association.
