Catch some Yuletide Magic at the Hazlet Community Holiday Show

On Saturday, 200 plus performers will hit the stage of the Raritan High School for what has been a Hazlet holiday tradition for more than 25 years—the Hazlet Community Holiday Show.

“It’s a great family event that definitely brings the holiday cheer,” said Hazlet Recreation Director Karen Theer. “It’s awesome. It’s a very spirited dance performance by the Perna Dance Center students.”

Hedy Perna, of the Perna Dance Center said the concert has been a Hazlet staple for 25 years and includes great dancing and holiday cheer.

“This is the 26 year we’re doing the show. It’s a free show for the community and it’s just packed. Last year there were 1,000 people,” she said. “It’s amazing and quick and there are a lot of little bodies with a lot of great dancing.”

Perna’s students are fresh off a trip to the Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World in Florida, where they were part of a television special to be shown on Christmas morning on ABC.
