Big Turnout for Holmdel First Aid's Health Awareness Night

A time to focus on stroke, heart attack and CPR techniques

The Holmdel First Aid's fifth annual Stroke, Heart Attack and CPR Awareness Night drew a large crowd of people on May 24 who wanted to learn more about early warning signs and risk factors. Speakers included Shirley Shook, MSN, RN of the Stroke Center; Julie Master, D.O. Cardiologist; and Ian Leber, M.D. Emergency Medicine.

Screenings for blood pressure and stroke risk assessment were offered.

The free event was also supported by the Bayshore Community Hospital.
