Operation Attleboro
September 14th - November 24th 1966 raged the largest operation to date in Vietnam. Operation Attleboro named after my city in Massachusetts, 155 US soldiers lost their lives. One of the men killed was Sgt Robert Irvin Johnson of Keyport. In my attempt to honor the Men who died I am updating the Vietnam Wall Memorial, Wall of Faces Website. Sgt Johnson's photo is missing and any help I can get in locating a photo would be greatly appreciated. Sgt Johnson was born August 16th 1942 began his tour in Vietnam on July 15th 1966 and was killed on September 1st 1966.
Sgt. Johnson is one of four missing photos from Keyport, the others are:James Luttgens US ArmyCharles Francis Morse Jr MarinesJoseph Sanotri US Army
Please help me ensure that no face is forgotten.
