Hazlet Medexpress Announces Community Donation Event To Benefit Local Fire Company, Free Sports Physicals Available

MedExpress Urgent Care, a national leader in delivering high-quality, convenient and affordable walk-in care, today announced it will host a community donation event to benefit Hazlet Fire Company #1 on Saturday, March 8 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. For every individual that stops by MedExpress’ Hazlet Center, located at 2880 Highway 35, between 12 p.m. – 2 p.m., MedExpress will donate $5 to Fire Company #1 up to $1,000. Members are of the community are encouraged to attend the event to help the company reach their $1,000 donation amount.

“We’re so excited to join the Hazlet community,” said Dan Murtha, Center Manager, MedExpress. “We want to show our appreciation and gratitude for welcoming us to the community and what better way than to support an important community resource such as Hazlet Fire Company #1.”

A Hazlet Fire Company #1 fire truck and fire fighters from the company will be on site at the community donation event to welcome and thank visitors.

As an additional thank you, MedExpress is offering free sports physicals to the Hazlet community through March 22. MedExpress is open 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily with no appointments necessary. Individuals interested in receiving free sports physicals can just walk in.

MedExpress is a proud partner of local schools and organizations throughout the region.  The Hazlet Center plays an important role in the community’s health care, offering convenient features that help most patients get the care they need in under an hour. With an X-ray suite and on-site lab, the Center can diagnose and treat most health care needs in one location.

Just what we need is another medical office. Instead they should of put a Red Lobster in there like theywanted to years ago.

Who's "they"? While I agree that this is the 3rd such place in Hazlet, this is the free market system at work. That building sat vacant for about 10 years and every business in America had the opportunity to develop this land. I wish the owners luck and it will likely mean the demise of one of the other facilities.

They are the township committee. They voted it down before the Lone Star.
