On Sunday, September 22nd, the Keyport Garden Club will be hosting “A Garden Party “ to benefit Keyport GardenWalk (KGW) at the Keyport Yacht Club  - 1:00PM – 4:00PM.  Keyport GardenWalk is a free, self-guided walking/biking tour of public and private gardens in historic Keyport.  This past June, KGW welcomed approximately 2,000 visitors to enjoy over 40 gardens throughout the bayside borough.  The “Garden Party” on 9/22 will include a silent auction of restaurant and business gift certificates, artwork and merchandise.  One of the auction items is “Lunch with Kerry Nolan” – WQXR (New York’s Classical music station) radio anchor.  The winning bidder will enjoy lunch at Keyport’s Nemo restaurant with Ms. Nolan.  Kerry Nolan anchors the morning newscasts on WQXR and has been a local host for All Things Considered and Weekend Edition.  She has filled in as guest host on WNYC produced programs including The Brian Lehrer Show, The Leonard Lopate ShowSoundcheck and On the Media.  A radio veteran, her career has spanned working in Boston as producer and voice talent at the legendary rock station WBCN to hosting to a lifestyle talk show for the Martha Stewart channel on Sirius/XM.

Tickets for “A Garden Party” to benefit Keyport GardenWalk are $25 and are available at Blue River Market and Uncle Louie G’s Italian Ices and Ice Cream – both shops are located on West Front Street in Keyport.   Light fare and live music are included in the ticket price.  Tickets are available by emailing info@keyportgardenwalk.org or by calling 732-687-9519.  The Keyport Yacht Club is located at 115 First Street, Keyport.
