It’s going to be messy today, with rain and snow mix. Temperatures should hit the low 40s though, according to weather.com.
Be careful on your morning commute, the National Weather Service has issued a a freezing rain advisory for the morning. Forecasts are calling for freezing rain and some snow, making the morning commute a hazardous one.
Also, beware of the dreaded Ice Jam. The National Weather Service has issued a weather alert for Monmouth County, warning of shifting chunks of ice being carried down stream, where they collect near bends or bridge abutments, causing jams.
