Holmdel Accepts Agreement with Somerset Developer

Everything you need to know in Holmdel and Hazlet today.

Somerset becomes official developer

During a special Township Committee meeting on Tuesday, Holmdel officials accepted the terms of a plan agreement with Somerset Developers. According to the Asbury Park Press, the township and Somerset are still working out how much the developer will pay Holmdel in taxes.

While the details of the agreement haven't been fully released, it must match details laid out by the Township Committee and the Planning Board.

In July, the Holmdel Planning Board approved the first phase of redevelopment for the the Lucent property, including the consolidation of the existing property and subdividing it into five lots.
