Hazlet Recreation announces a new class: Le Bons Sens - Weight Management Program. Friday classes will run from March 8-May 3 from 10am-11:30am. Tuesday classes will run from March 5-April 30 from 7pm-8:30pm. Classes are held at the Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet. The cost for 8 classes is $149.
Le Bon Sens, a French term translated to mean “the right way.” This class relies solely on natural and healthy ways to improve one’s health. The program not only targets weight loss but also focuses on a person’s overall wellness resulting in immediate benefits related to self-motivation, education, stress reduction, increased energy levels, and improved nutrition. At the conclusion of this class, participants will have gained the knowledge and motivation necessary to practice a healthy lifestyle, and to meet their weight loss/maintenance goals.
Holistic Wellness Coaching is an approach to healthcare that focuses on training the self as one integrative system to reach optimum health, fitness, and well-being that is personalized to your needs. Holistic Wellness Coaching provides you with the right tools for your personal growth to assist you in making lifestyles changes, setting goals, overcoming obstacles, and developing strategies to create balance in your life.
The instructor is Sandrine Baptiste who is a Holistic Coach and co-author of Change Your Mind Lose Weight.

The Hazlet Township Recreation Commission provides a wide variety of services to the local community that include operating and maintaining the town's public parks, summer camps and pools. It also hosts many seasonal events throughout the year, including the Hazlet Day Festival, Easter Egg Hunt and the Thanksgiving Day Dinner, which provides a free meal to anyone interested.
