Longstreet Farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as the farm dates back to the 1700s, but it has been restored to give it the look and feel of a late-19th century farmhouse. The staff dresses in period costume as they plow, plant, harvest, cook and clean as per the custom of the day.

Visitors can milk the cows, grind corn into feed and cut wood for the wood stove. On certain days, visitors may take part in blacksmithing, rug hooking, quilting, sheep shearing, spring planting and ice cutting.
