Holmdel Community United Church of Christ, 40 Main St, Holmdel, NJ | Get Directions »
$4,049.00

Travel to Israel next year (April 22-May 3, 2013) with

Rev. Rusty & Rabbi Larry Malinger of Temple Shalom

The trip is on!   The cost for land-only is $2699 per person, and with air-fare $4099.

Join Rev. Rusty and Rabbi Lawrence Malinger, and members of their congregations, as they go on an interfaith Christian/Jewish excursion to the Holy Land – going to sites significant to each religion, while enriching each other with this unique blend. We will traveling to important sites for each faith: Nazareth, Bethlehem, Galilee and, of course, Jerusalem.   We’ll see ancient Roman sites and synagogues.  We will bathe in the Jordan, the sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea; and travel to the fortress at Massada.   Plus, we will take a side trip to Petra in Jordan.  The travel agency, Abrams Travel, is asking for a deposit to be made, so that we will have a sense of who is interested in going. Registration forms and brochures are in the back of the church. Travel is with El-Al Airlines, the safest in the world. If you have friends or relative interested in going, please talk with them.  Please call the Holmdel Community Church for more information or to receive a brochure and more information: 732-946-2877 or e-mail: Holmdelchurch@verizon.net

Since 1991, the church has been led by the Rev. Russell Eidmann-Hicks. The church has focused on community outreach and educational ministry.
