Help Find Lucy, Lost Dachsund
We are still desperately looking for our small brown smooth dachshund Lucy, who was lost from Sutton Dr., in Matawan NJ on December 22nd, 2012.
She is about 14 lbs, smooth, brown dachshund Lucy. She has big eyes. Can be scared of big dogs, timid, neurotic, sometimes barks loudly. She has a birthmark on her belly.

I take the Matawan-Aberdeen train station into the city at least 3x a week. I surely be on the look out for Lucy. I will also ask the wonderful editor at the Marlboro-Colts Neck Patch to post this article in her edition. Unfortunately, I am currently in the same position as this heartbroken family. Douglas (my rat terrier) ran away on 1/3/13. Prayers are being said that Lucy is found and brought home to her family soon. Please pray that Douglas is found safe as well!

Laurie, thank you very much. I could never imagine such a story to happen to Lucy. I am sure, it's total shock for you to need to search for Douglas. We don't live in the area of Matawan. We appreciate your looking out for our dog. Let's hope and pray for our dogs to return home!

As a dachshund mom of 2 rescue pups I feel your anguish. My husband and I saw your flyer in the Town & Country Veterinary Office and we had a copies made for distribution.
My husband posted the flyer at the gym he belongs to "PowerHouse Gym" on Route 34 Beacon Hill Plaza in Marlboro, NJ

Katya, I have kept my eyes open since I first saw the posters in the development - I pray for Lucy's safe return, hoping someone has just had her safe & warm waiting to hear her family is looking for her. If I wasn't 8 mo's pregnant, I would definitely be out proactively trying to help. Thank you Patch for posting this - it really shows Patch.com is a great community-oriented site.
