Approximately 800 AT&T employees rolled up their sleeves last Thursday to lend a hand for super storm Sandy victims in New Jersey and Staten Island.
Five hundred volunteers in NJ, many from the Middletown office, served at seven locations serving food, distributing groceries and clothes, cleaning playgrounds, demolishing homes and much more.
Employees also brought with them hundreds of pounds of food donations to the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties in Neptune.
Executive Director of the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties Carlos Rodriguez said since Sandy hit, they’ve distributed enough food to make 450,000 meals- twice as much food they normally distribute during this time of year.
