Visitation, Funeral Services for George, Christopher DiCostanzo

The visitation will take place at John E. Day Funeral Home in Red Bank on Wednesday, with a funeral Mass at St. Anthony's on Thursday.

Visitation for the father and son killed in Sunday’s crash on Van Schoick Road in Holmdel will be held Wednesday.

The viewing for George DiCostanzo, 38, and Christopher DiCostanzo, 6, both of Middletown, will take place at John E. Day Funeral Home in Red Bank. The visitation hours will be 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 3.

A funeral service will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m.

George DiCostanzo was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-car accident in which his blue Subaru collided with a white Jeep Cherokee carrying two people. Christopher DiCostanzo was transported to Riverview Medical Center where he died shortly after. DiCostanzo’s four-year-old daughter, Pearl, was also in the car. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was brought to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, according to First Assistant Prosecutor Marc LeMieux of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

John McCormack, the 44-year-old the driver of the Jeep, and his passenger, Stephanie Pavlicek, 38, both of Middletown, sustained injuries in the crash but survived.
