Thursday's Olympic TV Schedule

More BMX, javelin and 4x100 relay races

We've rounded the bend on the London 2012 Olympic games, which wrap up with closing ceremonies on Sunday. And Thursday's schedule reflects another full day of competition. Gold will be awarded in men's 110m hurdles, women's BMX gets underway and swimming marathons will be held.

The U.S. Women's Soccer Team is ending their run in the finals against Japan today on the NBC Sports Network. Sound familiar? Last year's Women's World Cup left the U.S.A defeated and Japan victorious. Today's game is the last Olympic competition for American veteran and captain, not to mention New Jersey native, Christie Rampone. Check your local listings for the specific channel.

For the full schedule of events, see the London 2012 official site. As always the NBC Olympic site will be streaming all events live as they happen and the NBC networks will carry various portions throughout the length of the games.

By the way, for all of the crazy parents out there who think their child is going to be the next Olympic athlete, does anyone know how many athletes are participating at the current Olympic games that reside from New Jersey? I would love to know....it would help to keep your perspective.

@Nathan,why do you think its crazy for parents to think that? how do you think the athletes got where they are now? I wonder how many athletes that are not on that list should be. i know of one Erison Hertault from matawan. although not representing US he was a graduate of Matawan,he represented Dominica in olympics.
