Thank you to all the Holmdel Volunteer Firefighters and First Aiders who both (1) responded to numerous calls for assistance and (2) opened the firehouse doors as charging stations for the public to benefit from their generator's power, warmth, light and connection with neighbors.

I just want to thank our Mayor for his caring effort to keep us informed of the recovery effort. He was so good about contacting us daily I thought my wife had a boyfriend calling every few hours. Condos to the Mayor

I do not know where to begin thanking everyone who has helped us during our recovery. I have never been more proud of a group of people in my life. Thank you especially to my town, Union Beach.

As we sat at Yesterdays Restaurant a few power company men came in and asked the bar tender if they had food to go, they sure do. A couple asked where they were from they replied Ohio. They drove all day and slept in their truck across the street and started to work as soon as the wind died down. A man and his wife from Holmdel were having dinner, he told the bartender that their dinner (the workers) was on him. They did not have power yet, it had been 5 days, but they were thankful extra workers had come into town.

I would like to thank Holmdel Mayor Impreveduto for his strong leadership and for keeping his residents informed as to what was going on in town. Although the news was not always good, he updated us to the best of his ability.

I also want to thank our Mayor Pat. I don't always agree with his politics, but he did a great job in Holmdel. I spoke to people from other towns his communication was far and above any other mayor.
