We knew 7-11 sandwiches were smaller, so that would be our last trip. We also wanted a real comparison of turkey sandwiches, so this made sense. We chose turkey and american, which happened to be all that was on the sandwich. I didn't put condiments on any of the previous ones, so I didn't here, either.

Villa Somma's turkey sandwich was tasty. We tried it on an old-fashioned kaiser roll, one of my favorite types of bread. I like kaiser rolls that are doughy, but not too doughy. This is a good example of that. Not coincidentally, the kaiser and their other baked products come each morning from New York City.

The turkey was honey glazed. The sweetness was subtle, but the tanginess was there. Price: $5.45 (full roll).

Sunnyside's turkey sandwich was a little different. We tried ours on Brooklyn Bread, which was interesting in that the size was not the normal sub size. It was smaller. (A full roll is about 7 inches.) Personally, it was more inviting to eat since it wasn't too much bread!

Here, we tried the pepper-flavored turkey, which has always been a favorite of mine. You can definitely taste the spice and the kick. Price: $4.95 (full roll).

Here, we ordered a basic turkey sandwich. You can't go wrong with a turkey sandwich, especially on Jewish Rye. The meat was thinly sliced. So thin that Sean, the man behind the counter, said it would crumble into pieces! In turn, there was a lot of meat.

Mike at Sheepshead Baygels with his family have been making sandwiches and bagels for over 2 generations. They make a very good sandwich, as well as a good bagel. Price: $5.25 (full roll).
