"Rock Around the Park" Friday Night, at Holmdel's Cross Farm Park
Fireworks, 60s music, "Grease," doo-wop music, food, and a beer/wine tent. Are you going?
On Friday evening beginning at 5 p.m., there will be a special community event in Holmdel's Cross Farm Park called "Rock Around the Clock," culminating in a fireworks show. Admission is free.
The event will feature the Holmdel Kiwanis outdoor grill, The Cracked Olive of Holmdel, the Epanada man and Coldstone Creamery of Holmdel. Beer and wine will be served from the Kiwanis tent.
Everyone will be able to admire the classic cars and listen to Doo-Wop band called Jersey Jukebox, with original members of RB Express. There will be a "bounce house" for the kids.
Shore Flicks, the outdoor movie company, will show the movie "Grease" at 7:15 p.m. (You'll want to bring a blanket, or a chair.)
The Zambelli Fireworks show is scheduled for approximately 8:15 p.m.
Cross Farm Park is located at Route 520 and Longbridge Road in Holmdel, next to Thompson Park and the historic Cross Farmhouse.
