We have eaten at Villa for over 20 years, NEVER had a bad meal. Best Pasta Fagioli around. Good, solid Italian food, great sauce, great pies, all at reasonable prices. Great service too. I think at least 50 kids from Holmdel have worked there over the years. They would never hire me, because I would eat them out of business!!!!

We eat at Piazza Italia all the time!!! Always, a good meal and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. On a typical Saturday night, one of the owner's Tony makes his rounds mingling and conversing with the customers and there is always Maria to greet you at the door while Alfonso performs his magic in the kitchen. They offer weekly specials that are imaginative and delicious and the desserts are to die for. If you are lucky to go there when they offer Alfonso's biscottis, you will have a real treat.

My friends and I were away in Florida when this poll was published. We all live in Cedar Village at Holmdel Active Community and would have chosen Piazza Italia where their food is simply delicious and their owners are delightfully friendly. Unfortunately we were not here to vote and would probably have put them over the top and would have won the contest. Truly enjoy reading all the articles on Holmdel Patch.
