UPDATED: Disgraced Rutgers Coach Mike Rice Coaches 12-Year-Old Girls Team

Mike Rice was recently fired from his spot as the head coach of Rutgers Basketball for his aggressive coaching techniques.

HOLMDEL, NJ -- Former Rutgers head basketball coach Mike Rice is continuing his coaching career, with the NJ Shore Shots 7th grade girls team.

Brian Geltzeiler of Hoopscritic.com shed light pointed out on Twitter that Rice was seen in Holmdel "as crazy as ever."

"One of my moles is watching Mike Rice coach 12 year old girls at Holmdel High in NJ right now as crazy as ever yelling @ both refs and kids," he said on Twitter.

Rice, who was fired from his position after a video of aggressive coaching practices aired on ESPN, has apparently been coaching his daughter Katie's team for years, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Rice can be found on the coaches list for the NJ Shore Shots online. The AAU team pulls from several townships in the area.

According to an updated AAU bracket, the game in question was won by the Shore Shots, which advances them to the next round in the tournament.

Geltzeiler went on to say that a former Temple University basketball player saw Rice coaching the team, and called him a "lunatic."

"Former Temple player @MikeThreeswyk saw Rice yesterday at Stone Bridge Middle School and used the word 'lunatic' to describe his coaching."

Mike Vreeswyk, who played for Temple from 1985 to 1989, said he was there to witness Rice.

"I was there and can verify it's true. He was a lunatic yesterday at Stone Bridge Middle School as well."

Deadspin.com originally picked up Geltzweiler's story, and cited a source close to the AAU team who said the parents fully support Rice.

Three anonymous team parents told CBS Sports the accounts are a "total fabrication."

"It's a total fabrication," one father told CBS Sports. "It's not true. Was he yelling and screaming at the refs and the girls? No way."
