Man Charged With Sexual Assault of a Holmdel Girl
The man is being currently being held in the Monmouth County Jail on $150,000 bail.
Holmdel Police have arrested a 26-year old Swedesboro man on charges he engaged in sexual intercourse with a 14-year old Holmdel township girl on at least two occasions this summer.
Damon A. Wilson was arrested at his Shady Brook Lane residence on Thursday and charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
According to information released by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, the alleged offenses occurred at a residence in Holmdel in June, and at the Holiday Inn Express in West Long Branch in August.
Probable cause was determined through a law enforcement investigation.
Wilson is being held at the Monmouth County Jail in Freehold on $150,000 bail with no ten percent option, set by Judge Richard English.
The investigation was led by Det. Sgt. A. Louis Torres of the Holmdel Police and Det. Jeff Hanlon of the West Long Branch Police. The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Forensic Crimes Unit also assisted.
