Although the last chill in New Jersey isn't until May, Dearborn Market experts say some vegetables can be planted now.

Cool-weather crops such as lettuce, onions and potatoes can be planted before the last chill, according to Geri Van Wezel-Bolen of Dearborn. But, of course, make sure your gardens are positioned to get plenty of sunlight.
