I don't know if this will delay his request for driving privileges when he becomes of age..Perhaps Mom and Dad can pick out his first car for him? Maybe a nice 80's style lime green station wagon with wood paneling on the side.. parked in the driveway with a nice big Bow on it so they can "Surprise" him next time he goes for a spin..

It was obviously the cop's fault. Now look what you have done, Mr. Policeman, you have made a Holmdel teen feel real bad about himself! But don't worry, his dad will get him a nice new car, and get a new Mercedes for himself.

That is some cynical stereotype of Holmdel families you've made. The Holmdel I know have children who do more community service/charity than many generations before. A community that sends many onto elite colleges. A community that supports their athletic programs and a community that enjoys our beautiful parks. Next time you want to spew your insecurities, don't take a pot shot at the real Holmdel.
