Holmdel Village 'Inverness' Subdivision Goes Before Holmdel Planning Board
The property is located between Vonage, at Route 520, and Willow Brook, on the border with Colts Neck.
The final major subdivision plan for the proposed development called Inverness, in Holmdel Village, returns to the Planning Board tonight.
On the agenda is a proposal to subdivide property on the south side of Route 34 and Holmdel Road into four open space lots, and 18 single family building lots. One of those single family lots would contain the exiting historic farmhouse on the tract known as the Henry D. Ely farm and be encumbered by a farm land easement.
Preliminary approval the applicant, Westor Partnership, represented by Henry B. West, was granted in 2007.
The property is in the R-4R Rural Conservation District, requiring mandatory cluster zoning and minimum 60% open space set aside.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Holmdel Town Hall.
