A home on Chestnut Ridge Road was burglarized Friday, according to Holmdel police.

The department issued a phone alert bulletin to residents Saturday morning. The thief entered the residence between 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., according to the police.

There were no signs of forced entry, but the person may have gotten access into the home through an unlocked rear window, police said.

A bedroom was ransacked and an undetermined amount of jewelry and cash was taken.
