Three Local First Aid Volunteers Noted for Distinguished Service

The staff at the Bayshore Community Hospital Emergency Room depend on, and appreciate, the selfless first aid volunteers in Hazlet, Holmdel and Keyport.

Bayshore Community Hospital's Emergency Department Staff saluted three volunteers for their selfless service, professionalism and thoughtfulness.

The 2012 Distinguished Service Award was given to First Aid Members Steven Deutsch of the Hazlet squad, Angelo DeRosa of the Holmdel squad, and Dan Neff of the Keyport squad in a ceremony on March 30.

"I consider this an incredible honor," said Deutsch. "But I simply did what was expected of me as a member of the Hazlet First Aid Squad."

The award was signed by Dinesh Shah, MD Assistant Directory of the Dept. of Emergency Medicine and Tatyana Kozhevnikova, RN, the interim Nurse Manager of the Emergency Dept.
