Roxy
Roxie, Cassie, Penny, and Onyx are Lab mix puppies who are good with kids, good with dogs and good with cats. They are from of a litter of nine puppies that were rescued from a North Carolina kill shelter. Some of the pups are wired haired and some are a flat coat, but all are simply adorable. They are approximately 10 weeks old, they have their first shot and are ready for a new forever home. Castle of Dreams

Diesel and his sister Molly were dumped in a gas shelter in North Carolina. They were pulled out of there in the nick of time and they are being fostered down there. They are getting their health certificates and are in New Jersey looking for their forever homes. They have their first shots and are ready to go.

We believe Trixie is a Shih Tzu/Brussels Griffon mix, but we know for sure she is totally adorable. Trixie is approximately two to three years old and in her short years she's experienced a lot of heartbreak. Originally from a hoarder in Missouri, she was rescued, adopted and loved, only to be discarded when her family had no time for her. She's a loving little girl who just wants to be loved in return. Do you have room in your home and your heart for Trixie?
Benny is an approximately 70 pound, six-year-old Shephard/Husky mix. He is a really laid back and loving boy. Benny does take some extra time to adjust to new people but once he trusts you, he's your best buddy. He has gotten along well with smaller female dogs and is completely housebroken, neutered and up to date on all shots. Benny does not counter surf, beg, or chew. He loves to cuddle with his stuffed animals. A home with small children is not recommended.

Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue (CODAR) is an Aberdeen-based, non-profit canine rescue group that takes in dogs from high-kill shelters and puppy mills along the east coast and works to find them any necessary medical attention, foster care and a forever home.

This week CODAR has sent Patch a photos of twelve dogs looking for permanent, loving home.

If you are interested in adopting any of the dogs in the slideshow, fill out the application online at www.castle-of-dreams.com.

Brandy, Bailey and Jaeger

Brandy, Bailey, and Jaeger are all collie mixes approximately who are about 14 weeks old. They are up to date on shots. They were rescued from a kill shelter in Duplin, North Carolina. All three are sweet and playful and would be a great addition to any family. They are good with other animals, children, and all people.

Logan

Logan is an adorable Pomeranian looking for a second chance.  He was originally rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. We believe he's about two years old, and as you can see, quite a handsome boy.  He gets along with other dogs, but so far hasn't bonded with any.  He's a low maintenance kind of guy, he's happy sitting by a window or door where he can see outside, or sitting by his person. Totally loves being with people, will jump up into your arms if you lean into him.  Just an all-around adorable guy looking for a forever home.
