Support New Jersey Producers at Dearborn's Food Festival

An announcement from Dearborn Market in Holmdel.

At Dearborn Market, we believe that where a product is made is just as important as how it is made. We are so proud to be located in New Jersey and take special pride in the hand-selection and quality of the local products we sell to our customers. This summer we encouraged our customers to also think Jersey Fresh by featuring special “Buy Jersey Local” signage next to all the fruits, vegetables, and specialty products that are produced right here in New Jersey.

Then in July, we held an in-store raffle where 40 lucky Dearborn customers joined us on a NJ Farm Tour, spending a day exploring some of our favorite NJ Farms - Larchmont Orchards, where we get our beautiful peaches and nectarines, Bifulco Farms, where we have been purchasing their vegetables since 1970, and Lucas Greenhouses and Overdevest Nurseries where we get some of our beautiful garden center plants.

To commemorate the end of our summer-long “Buy Jersey Local” promotion, we are inviting some of our New Jersey food producers to come to the store, sample their products, and share their stories.

Come in to meet the people and places behind the delicious products we sell - pizza's, cookies, cakes, chocolates, spices, honeys, ice-creams, tea's, marinades, sauces, pasta's, pickles and more - all produced in New Jersey and available to purchase.

Best of all, for every $100 spent (be it a coffee shop or hardware store), local business put $68 back into the local economy vs. $43 with chains/non-local business.
