On May 5, 2012, the
8th Annual Play Ball for Miracles Charity Softball Tournament
will take place in
Warinanco Park (Elizabeth/Roselle NJ).
Men's and Co-Ed teams from all over NJ, NY and PA will be participating in the event.
We would love to get the word out to as many teams as possible, so we are asking that you please blast this information to all of your teams.
This is a One-Pitch, Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament sponsored by the Ellizabeth NJ Firemen's Federal Credit Union, ASA and Wakefern.
Co-Ed teams require a minimum of 3 members of each gender on the field at all times.
Cost to play is $250.00 (tax-deductible, non-refundable)
Since its inception in 2005, Play Ball for Miracles has raised over 80k for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. All proceeds from our event are donated to CMNH.
We have all types of teams playing, some that are in it just for the cause, others that are teams playing in Leagues all over NJ, NY, and PA. Some are police and fire departments, others are rec teams. Even the NYPD/FDNY Hounds participate in our tournament.
We have been advertised on many local radio stations including 105.5 WDHA, not to mention that the WPLJ Party Patrol will be with us on the day of the event.
Attached is the registration form. Please send it out to anyone you think would be interested. Our space in limited, registration is extended to April 30.
