Each year, members of a Girl Scout troop choose which program journey they will follow of the three that are available at each level. 

Now, thanks to a cooperative effort of the Holmdel Girl Scout leaders and Karen Nealis, Holmdel reference librarian, there is a complete set of girl books and leader guides available in the Holmdel branch of the Monmouth County Library for troops to browse before making a decision and purchasing individual books. 

The books may be used at the library or hand checked out from the reference desk.

Representing all the Girl Scout Leaders that contributed but could not be present that day are leaders Dina Hamwi, Anissa Quirk and Donna Geslak. 

Also present were Karen Nealis of the Holmdel Library, Cathy Vazquez, Regional Director for this area of the council, and Pat Rise, a member of the Regional Volunteer Support committee.
