The Salvation Army has opened a temporary center at 745 Poole Ave (the old YMCA day care) in Hazlet and needs volunteers from 10 to 4. They will be there until the end of March.

S.ARMY NEEDS MORE GOODS LIKE UNION BEACH. I WAS AT UNION BEACH TODAY AND WAS SENT AWAY CAUSE I LIVE IN KEANSBURG. AS I WAS GETTING INTO MY CAR A TRUCK PULLED UP WITH SHEETROCK AND THEY WHERE GIVING OUT WASHERS DRYERS REG,ALL KINDS OF APPLAIANCES.WHEN I WENT BACK IN TO ASK ABOUT IT THEY TOLD ME AGAIN IT WAS FOR UNION BEACH RESIDENTS. WHY ISNT ANYBODY HELPING KEANSBURG.WE HAVE NOTHING. WE GOT MORE MONEY FROM OUR GOVERNMENT THEN UNION BEACH DID. WHERE IS THE MONEY AND THE HELP?????????
