Photography Exhibit: "A Moment in Time" at Hazlet Township Library

An exhibit featuring the work of Keansburg resident and photo artist Bill Jones will be held at the Hazlet Township Library from Oct. 1 through Nov. 1.

A reception for the artist will be held at the library on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“There are photo opportunities in everything we do because they are real life happening! Just imagine if we were able to recapture those very special moments that are lost in time forever.  That makes each photograph unique because you will never get that exact moment in life again,” Jones said.

Having pursued photography as a hobby since childhood, Jones has worked with photojournalist Marius Muresanu, New York Times photographer Chester Higgins, Jr. and New Jersey photo artist Arnie Goldstein.

Born in Brooklyn, Jones has resided in  Keansburg for the past four years. He served as a senior manager in New York City government for over 30 years, starting out in the Mayor’s office under Ed Koch. As a result, Bill had the opportunity to serve and witness many outstanding and creative individuals.

The Hazlet Township Library is located at 251 Middle Road in Hazlet. The exhibit will be open during Library hours: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Fridays, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
