Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence Aids in Sandy Relief
The Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence has implemented a wonderful way to help give back to the community and those affected by Hurricane Sandy. If you are not aware, the foundation has a year round gift card fundraiser where you can purchase gift cards from all of your favorite stores and the company donates a percentage back to the organization.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and in support of the Holmdel School District’s curriculum goal related to Character Education, the Trustees voted at their last meeting to donate all profits from the sale of gift cards purchased through our program, in the month of November, to the Holmdel School District’s Bridges Chapter. This program is run through our schools by Teacher Representatives and students.
Some of you may have already done your part in the relief efforts, but the holidays are quickly approaching. Regardless of whether you are donating your card back or doing a little holiday shopping, the total profit from gift card sales for the month of November will be donated back to Bridges.
