Hazlet Natives, Fellow Ramapo Students Join Bayshore Relief Effort

Hurricane Sandy devastated many New Jersey towns throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The aftermath has left many without power and some without homes at all.

The Jersey Shore was ravaged, and is now dealing with some of the worst damage it has ever seen.

Hazlet natives, Kristie and Kellie Walton gathered a group of volunteers: myself, JR Pacifico, Michael Saldida, all from Mountainside NJ, Brittany McDyer of Crandford, Savvas Roumelioutis of Union Beach and Megan Kierce from Matawan.

Together they collected food, clothes and toiletries to donate and also helped salvage what was left of the homes in Union Beach and Keyport.

While in the area I captured some footage of the disaster and strung together a very moving benefit video in hopes to raise awareness and some money for the cause!

To donate please go to: http://www.indiegogo.com/jerseystrong?a=1714324

Together we are Jersey Strong and we can rebuild our shores.

Thanks for the video. If we could only get this out to the world so they can see the devastation and how much help is needed.
